Lasted a day

for me, this is extra protection for the ball because our Great Dane plays with it every morning. The opening for the ball to go through is only about five inches so we had to deflate our ball to put it in. Deflating the ball is NOT recommended as it weakens them.My ball is used primarily by our Great Dane and he found the Velcro closing to become a great handle to pull and bite at the ball. I do wish with that in mind that the material around the Velcro could be strengthened some how. Do NOT use duct tape! I covered a 10-12 inch square with duct tape thinking it keep the material from tearing away from the velcro, my dog had LOTS of holes in it after serious use! NOPE, it gave my dog something to hold onto and the first time out with it...he popped the ball. We are now on our second ball under this cover! My dog wears himself out in about 10-15 minutes! Great excercise for him. I just stop him now if he goes to biting. This cover and ball rolls over branches, stumps....glad I got it!

This cover is bigger than 40 inches and does not fit the 40 inch ball that l bought

Of course I saw the other reviews stating it didn’t the proper sized ball. But I thought to myself, how could it be that off? Well, let me save you the trouble with another review saying it is. My Beauceron gets herd happy and ends up popping these balls that I get him within a few hours so I figured this could help with the longevity but now it’s just another thing I’m going to forget to return as usual. It would be one thing is it was close to fitting but this is nuts
