The film slate is great. Good quality build. Large area for writing your own production info. A whiteboard marker pen wipes off easily with a microfibre cloth. The stick stays raised for single handed use. Faultless product. Recommended

I like this version of a slate that doesn’t have pre-drawn lines since I film several different types of productions and I don’t always need the pre-made sections. It’s built well and works well with a dry erase marker. Definitely recommend.

You’d think this would be a simple, straightforward product—think again. I used a dry-erase marker, and the writing refused to come off. I tried everything: whiteboard eraser, whiteboard cleaner, elbow grease. Ten frustrating minutes later, I finally managed to remove the marks.To be sure it wasn't the marker, I bought another one—same result. The writing stuck like permanent ink. Either this is made from cheap, inferior material, or it simply doesn’t work as advertised.At this point, I’m ready to toss it in the trash.
