I brought this for camping trips. I went for the smaller one and it’s about 50% bigger than I expected but that’s my fault for not looking at the dimensions.I wanted something big enough to use, small enough to pack and the tube it come in is quite big but by no means too but. It went into my backpack no problem and to be fair had it been the size I was expecting I think it would have been too fiddly to actually use.I LOVE IT. Spending a night by a camp fire and a river drinking and relaxing playing chess (badly) was amazing. It’s now part of my essential kitIt’s well made, the mat actually sits flat and light as a feather.My only tip would be to paint a red and white dot on the bishop’s heads as after a few jack n comes I kept mistaking it for a pawnWould recommend in a heart beat.

Modèle en taille 43cm. Jeu qui permet un usage sans crainte, acheté pour travailler un peu la technique en tant que débutant sur un coin de table ainsi pour la numérotation des cases. Le tapis , une fois déroulé, n est pas complètement plat, il y a comme une ondulation entre les cases blanches et « noires » , dû à une déformation thermique certainement lors de fabrication. N empêche pas spécialement son usage.

This would perfect to bring along camping and the like while sharing a small space with other people. The board is foam like which is still pleasant, it makes it nice and quiet to play on, all it needs is the bags that you store it in to be made of cloth instead of plastic and it would be perfect.The pieces have a good weight despite being plastic and I like the storage container.

Si vous n'avez pas envie de vous embêter ou avoir peur de casser votre bel échiquier en bois, ça peut être une option.Maintenant... Les pièces sont ultra légères, les coins se relèvent et finissent parfois par faire tomber les pièces colonnes A et H...Donc bon... Moyen l'échiquier :/
