As always, anker has made a great product with good build quality. Everything works as expected, with one small exception, my laptop now warns me that it is charging slowly despite using the same power adapter. I'm guessing this is because the laptop came with a 65w charger and it can probably be fixed by getting a 100w charger. I haven't tested the actual charging speed though. The difference may be negligible and it doesn't matter for my use case.

Pros:- metal housing, feels solid- nice looking- unlike similar products, this has an extra USB-C port in addition to the USB-C power input- single connection to connect to charger, external display and USB peripheralsCons:- it blocks DCC signals on the DisplayPort which means brightness of the external monitor cannot be controlled from the Mac (I ended up returning and replacing with a USB-C to DisplayPort cable which allows brightness control)- the USB-C port is just that - my Thunderbolt 3 specific peripheral didn't work- cable is a little short, especially when the Macbook is elevated on a laptop stand

Mijn oude laptop had ethernet wat ik altijd gebruikte op locaties waar het voor handen was.Daarbij moest ik op 1 locatie DisplayPort gebruiken, en op de andere locaties HDMI.Daarbij had ik locaties waar ik een USB-C apparaat ook wou aansluiten (audio interface), zodat ik niet 1 van mijn 2 usb-c poorten 'kwijt raakte'.Deze leek perfect er voor. Zowel displayport als hdmi, ethernet, usb-c pd input, maar ook usb-c data output.Op zich gaat het goed, maar de ethernet aansluiting werkt maar met 1 van de 2 usb-c aansluitingen op mijn laptop (De echte 'thunderbotl4' port). Als ik hem in de andere prik, komt er gewoon geen ethernet device bij, maar ook de lampjes blijven uit. Maar als ik de laptop echt uitzet ebn opstart met de dock er al in, doet de ethernet port het wel via die 2e usb-c aansluiting. Weird.Daarbij vreet het hele ding best wat stroom met +/- 15 watt. Dus als je gewend was op te laden met een usb-c 65w charger, merk je dat het nu langzamer gaat. Ik krijg het zelfs voor elkaar om m'n batterij te laten _afnemen_ terwijl de charger is aangesloten.

The HDMI works fine with my LG27UL550 4K monitor however sometimes it flickers or the whole screen goes black for a few seconds at a time. Moreover, it does run hot after a while, especially if you use it for charging either the laptop itself or a device (i.e. watch) via the USB-A port. Considering the steep price I paid for the dongle, I expected the quality to be much better.

Le meilleur hub complet et qualité des connectiques. Rien à dire. Parfait pour un ordi portable utilisé en "fixe" dont on veut cacher toutes les connectiques.
