USB-C has been the standard for a few years now, as USB-micro and USB-A have seen decreasing market share. And not without reason: USB-C is easier to use (no one-way-only connectors, carries more current and more data). And they're everywhere: most electronic gizmos come with a supplied USB-C cable right in the box.So why pay $16 for a cable? Because this one is GOOD in ways that "included in the box" cables often aren't:* Length - this cable is 6' long, considerably more than the 3 or 4.5 ft of most in-the-box cables. Want to charge your phone while you use it in bed, but the USB-C outlet in the hotel is a bit further away? No problem.* Build quality - this cable has a robust silicone exterior that allows for gentle bends and won't kink up on you. The connectors are quite sturdy, and it will outlast multiple cheap cables.* Power delivery: this cable can transmit up to 240W of charging power, enough for the most power-hungry laptop (or other devices) batteries. You'll be limited by how quickly your device can receive charge (or your charger can deliver it) before you'd be limited by the power delivery of this cable. In short: this will not be the weakest link in your charging/power-delivery chain.* Data transfer rate - while not the fastest, it is plenty for most ordinary tasks at 480mbs. If you need fastest data throughput for transferring large video files or the like, you should be using Thunderbolt anyway. But for ordinary tasks (peripherals like printers or music players, etc), this cable is more than enough.

I've tested a ton of cables and while I haven't tested a lot of off brand I've bought off brand that are expensive, have great marketing here and look/feel quality, look/feel tough. But they do NOT match the performance of either Anker (here) or Belken so I just skip the shiny ads and half price plus twenty percent off and go with what I know sends full current, charges as fast as the device is capable of.No need to play around the edges- spend once, no need to replace unless you just lose it or somehting. Can't go wrong here and it really doesn't make sense to look elsewhere unless you want to take the time to actually measure performance.I've bought a BUNCH of charging cables from a company...it has green lights to signifiy it's "hot" or capable of charging and they tout quality etc...I tried to return one and just gave up...the silly thing BROKE and they ran me through a wringer just to get a replacement for an item that probably cost them every bit of two dollars to produce, five to ship. guess what? Behind all of that marketing glitz and feel of quality and appearance...they suck. Objectively. Measurably worse, like 1/3 the capability/capacity of these. Now I just stick with brand names and don't guess or wonder what I've got. Plus returns/replacement/warranty is clear, simple and they honor their commitments. This is the one. No need to look elsewhere.

The cable looks really good. It’s super light. It feels very soft and it has been more than exceptional for what I needed it to be.

Works with Pinecil V2 v2.20 firmware (no need to update) and Rocoren 140W charger. The 28V is shown on display. And yes, you'll get your 3 seconds to 300 degrees speed. The cable is probably 1mm thicker than original red one from Pinecil.Make sure to take the other devices out from the USB-A port, otherwise you'll see only 20V ;)
