I would usually get the long bamboo skewers, like the ones you use to roast marshmallows, to skewer fruit, but these are so much better. I was always a little nervous with the former because of the risk of a child poking an eye out with them, but these ones are shorter and have a flat base which is less dangerous. There is still a risk of an eye being poked out, but it is less likely.They look great on a plate - an aesthetically pleasing way to display and distribute fruit - and they're easier to dispose of compared to the long skewers.

These wooden food sticks are nice quality and sturdy.They are nice to hold and perfect for serving finger foods and small treats at a party.They are so much better than the normal cocktail sticks.

Good looking strong bamboo skewers, I have the short versions that are good enough for both sweet or savoury foods. Thet were just as I expected and have had before. Much better and easier to use that traditional cocktail sticks.

Really pleased with these - I ordered them to make fruit kebabs with my Nursery playroom as part of a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme. I was a little worried they might be too sharp for the children to use safely but the ends are fairly well rounded and as the children will be supervised I am happy to use these. The size are great for little hands to manage and we will be able to slot banana, melon and blueberries on which is a great way of developing fine motor skills and also prepare snack!
