I bought this because I've started slinging and I wanted to have some idea of what distances the objects reach that I throw. This works very nicely and I really like it that it also calculates the real distance compared to direct line of sight, so I can compare the distances thrown from different heights.If you're thinking about buying this, I can say that so far it's great at what it does, but I only go out to use it when it's dry, so I have not tested it in moist or wet circumstances.
