I'm using my UPS to power 2 x 4 watt aquarium air pumps. I'm using it purely as emergency life support only. I don't care about filters, heaters or lights. I purchased the smart as it is 100% compatible with any pump or filter.With the UPS it is stated that I will get 6 hours runtime which is sufficient for any power outages in my area.UPS has a small foot print approximately the size of a shoe box. In fact as it was smaller than I expected I've placed it next to my PC on a shelf.Device is plug and play except you must power on the device to activate it. This is not obvious as the settings panel appears to power on when kettle lead is connected. This is missleading. The device is actually still powered off at this point.Once powered on the device sets up with default settings which appear fine for normal use.The device came with two outlet power leads that terminate in kettle lead ends and a short Ethernet network cable. There is no kettle lead for power and no way to plug a standard uk plug into the outlets?So I purchased a kettle lead. A 15 meter ethernet so I can wire it to my home network and two extension leads to UK sockets.Once wired to ethernet you can talk to the device and set up alerts to warn you if the power goes out which are sent to email.No issues with my APC. Is perfectly quite and cannot be heard.Setup easy and backup requirements meet my needs.UpdatePower test shows that the unit is more than capable of powering my two airpumps for the stated 6 hours.After charging APC for 24 hours unit has gone into green mode.My home temps are 23-25oC. Unit runs at 40oC running on batts and 28oC when in green mode.All working as intended.

Ho acquistato APC perché già sapevo di prendere un prodotto di qualità, avendone esperienza dal passato con un altro UPS, dato che dove abito la corrente non è molto stabile. Infatti anche questo modello non si è smentito. Praticamente inudibile, e questo personalmente era importante perché è posizionato nella camera dove dormo, anche quando entra in funzione. Sul display vengono date un sacco di informazioni, come ad esempio la quantità di carico in uso in quel momento, ed i relativi minuti di corrente che può continuare a fornire. Per fare un esempio, nel mio caso, con PC performante collegato, insieme a due monitor (un 32 pollici 4K e un 24) e ad una televisione 43 pollici, l'UPS mi da 25 minuti di corrente. Un piccolo consiglio che posso dare è di attivare il servizio Smart Connect direttamente inquadrando il QR code posto direttamente sull'apparecchio, diventando così un'operazione veramente semplice. In più ricordate che se volete essere informati via mail dell'entrata in funzione dell'UPS anche per brevi periodi, bisogna attivare questa funzione (normalmente disabilitata) direttamente dalla pagina web relativa, nella sezione notification. Altrimenti vi avviserà solo per il raggiungimento del tempo limite, e per la richiesta di sostituzione batterie esaurite.In conclusione, un prodotto consigliatissimo.

Beh, che dire, ups professionale, forse sovradimensionato per un uso domestico ma per me indispensabile. Connessione al cloud consigliata. Mi manda avanti 1 Nas, 2 modem, 1router, 1 switch PoE e 2 ventole di estrazione d’aria e il carico utilizzato é pari al 6% quindi in caso di mancanza di alimentazione andrebbe per circa 120 minuti.. e ho detto tutto.Dimenticavo di dire che il rumore è pari a zero.
