In the factory, they put a drop of water on the sensor. This is to protect the sensor.You did not recieved an used item but just did not real the manual well.

Yes its going to cost more than you were prepared to spend. Why should you buy this and not something cheaper or god for bid using strips..? Pure and simple, it works very well. Don't buy cheap, they suck and will not last beyond a couple of uses and require constant calibration.I bought this on the advise of a youtuber that grows Hot Peppers.Great Advise.

Work good do the job

What's the point of a tool if it gives you a completely random reading, trust your tools. I like this product it seems well built even overkill for what i needed it for but i'm certainly someone who spends more on tools for quality. I also recommend using Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA batteries (takes 4) and not the ones it comes with them or rechargeables, lithium primaries won't leak in storage and you can then keep the batteries inside the device without any worry if you do use the batteries that come with them make sure you remove them before use as they will likely leak after a while as most alkalines in storage do and it would be a shame.

It's working great so far. I think this was a good buy. Since I bought i calibrate it once just to see if it was off. Turns out it was accurate from the day I set it. Going 2 months now. I hope this company continue to produce high quality instruments.

Professional product for professionals at a good price

Appareil impeccable, meilleur rapport qualité prix sur le marché et j'en ai testé quelques uns. Deux solutions d'étalonnage sont fournies, Ph 4 et Ph 7. Le Ph 10 n'est pas fourni, mais dans 99% des cas vous n'en aurez pas besoin car que ce soit pour la piscine, la culture ou un aquarium votre eau ne doit jamais dépasser 7 de Ph, à part si vous travaillez dans un milieu spécial. (Voilà pourquoi ce n'est pas fourni)Vous pouvez utiliser une solution Kcl pour stocker la sonde, mais ce n'est pas obligatoire. Contrairement a ce que j'ai pu lire. Le stockage à sec n'abime PAS la sonde définitivement. Ca la dérègle temporairement, il suffit de l'hydrater 15 min dans la solution Ph 4 ou dans la solution Kcl avant de l'utiliser et ca repart. La solution Kcl sert surtout si vous-vous servez de l'appareil tous les jours.Le manuel est en anglais, mais rien de sorcier. Et puis tout le monde parle anglais en 2023 c'est juste la France qui a des lacunes de ce coté la. Ne blâmez pas Apera, mais l'éducation nationale. Au pire les traducteurs sur internet existent.
