Apsogo Basilicum - Gedroogde Biologische Basilicum uit Griekenland - Aromatische Smaak, Perfect als Kruiden of Kruidenthee (100g)

A must need in my Mediterranean/Middle East home! The basil itself is very aromatic and flavourful, enhances dishes especially tomato based dishes. They’re less ground than dried basil seasoning you’d find at a supermarket which in my eyes is a positive as it points to how organic and quality it is. Definitely recommend for anyone who takes their cooking and flavours seriously.

Love that this is at least 95% organic.Have tried other herbs from the same brand, and as always, the quality speaks for itself.The basil flavour comes through and is strong. This means that this bag will go a long way, and actually makes the bad reasonable value for money as not as much needs to be used each time.

As someone that is not too knowledgeable about acquiring basil by itself to use in mixes or as something to add flavour I can't really comment too much on said flavour other than the fact that I was personally fine with it and turns out that the seeds in this mix are totally edible if prepared though given that the bag was surprisingly brown (and the existence of seeds) it was clear that it had been harvested later than what would usually be normal and unfortunately the product images which are very green suggest this wasn't a purposeful decision on their part.I suppose most people would consider this bad advertising but ultimately it worked and tasted nice in the things I have currently used it in which is bound to be a decent amount in the future given that 100 grams is more than you may expect. It also still has a pretty long shelf life to it as well which is good though given the circumstances it is kinda hard to recommend.

A good size and really flavoursome.Enhanced tonight’s pasta dish no-end.Tastier than cheap spice-tub basil.Resealable pack.
