If you’re shopping for your reptiles uvb needs, Arcadia is the way to go. A little steep in price, but it’s completely worth it to know your pet is getting what they need to be happy and healthy. I haven’t had any issues with any of the lights burning out early, just know you need to replace them yearly as the output will decrease as time goes on.

Arrived well packaged and includes a daisy chain cable for linking multiple lamps together. The bulb was packaged separately inside the box for extra protection.The unit itself appears well made, with the reflector unit being substantial and not just thin, bendable metal as in some. Fittings provided allow for easy removal of the unit as it clips into them, which is very flexible. An end cap is provided for the daisy chain port so there are no exposed power connectors, which is a nice touch.Performance wise, it produces a good, even light and tiddles seems to appreciate it!Not the cheapest on the market, but thought has gone into the design and I do believe this is a case of getting what you pay for.
