Je l'ai achetée sous les conseils de la vétérinaire qui recommande vivement les lampes Arcadia. La lampe est dans un grand pied Avian. Il faut que le perroquet s'habitue. D'après la vétérinaire il ne faut laisser la lampe que 15min à 30cm du perroquet. 1x par jour.

I have been using this for my Kakariki small parrot for 3 months now for 4 hours each day, Rudy has always had bad molting problems and he has always been pretty much bald since we bought him home, I have read that Kakariki birds tend to have feather problems in captivity.So following a visit to an amazing Avian Vet where we were given great advice and reassurance from a very caring bird doctor called Brian Stanton from Leyton I have been using this Avian Light and I have been using Complete Bird Supplement and Guardian Angel powder which I purchased from the amazing Bird Care Company online, in combination with a high quality parakeet seed mix with milled flax, pumpkin, sunflower, chia seeds and goji berries with fruit and veg, and LOTS of love =), well, Rudy has never looked this good!, he is growing feathers in places and showing colors which I have never seen on him before. I never knew until now that he had yellow feathers mixed in with his red top.I GUESS THERE IS A CURE FOR MALE PATTERN BALDNESS AFTER ALL =)( will update with some pics soon )Worthwhile investment for your birds health and I recommend wholeheartedly.Update: 06 July 2019Hi all, well Rudy did not go completely bald last fall and Winter which I was really counting on, this is the first ever time this has happened as with his seasonal molt he loses all of his feathers on his head!, I have cut back his Avian light time as I have also been taking him outside with me when the weather is ideal as Rudy loves to bask in the sun and believe that the outdoors also contributes to his well being and health.He seems healthy and chirpy, we have always allowed him flying and perching space in the living room as parrots tend to need and like, he is molting and grooming healthily now and has even been sharing some of his beautiful colourful long wing and tail feathers with us which my elder sister loves and takes home with her =) but he never really seems to share those very beautiful vibrant blue ones on the outside of his wings though =(To be honest, I do not think that Rudy will ever get to look like a Kakariki does in the wild, but I do think that he has reached about 80% and who knows maybe he will do even better for the next year?, which is all that we could ask for after viewing some old pics of him and comparing him to the state that he was in before!.Nobody wanted Rudy due to his health problems, and was the last one left in the pet shop, but since coming to a home like ours, he is probably the luckiest one out of his more perfect and popular brothers and sisters are, because he has probably received the most Love.Rudy is happy, which in my opinion is the most important thing of all.Peace.

Éclaire très bien, mais mes perruches ne vont pas en dessous de la lumière donc je ne peux pas trop me positionner sur l'effet qu'elle a sur les perruches, en tout cas elle éclaire très bien et on dirait de la lumière naturelle, je recommande donc. Mais un peu cher quand même

Ottimo prodotto, prezzo invitante , da leggere bene che la durata del uvb/uva è limitata a un anno di vita quindi tecnicamente dopo un anno sarebbe da cambiare ! (Lo scrivo perché molta gente scrive duratura ) la luminosità sibbene sia una 20/22 watt non è delle migliori illumina poco più di una lampadina da comodino, ma giustamente è un prodotto che si suppone di essere usato a 30 cm dalla gabbia dei vostri pennuti ! Attenzione ad abusarne perché stimola la riproduzione ritrovandoci poi magari pappagalli troppi agitati o aggressivi !

Erst zwei Tage haben wir diese Lampe zusammen mit dem "Arcadia Compact" Lampenschirm im Einsatz und bereits jetzt sind unsere Vögel begeistert!Diese Kombination ist echt praktisch: Wie auf dem Foto zu erkennen ist können die Vögel zum Sonnen nach oben auf ihre Schaukeln und sich ansonsten weiter unten im Käfig aufhalten, wo die UV-Strahlung dann nur noch schwach ist. Ein toller Effekt ist auch, dass der Käfig so schön ausgeleuchtet ist - mit einem Licht, was für das Vogelauge nicht flackert. So können die Vögel abends in Ihrer Ecke stehen und man muss sie nicht mehr mit unpassendem Licht anleuchten. Was auch praktisch ist, wenn man es sich selbst gemütlich machen möchte.Es ist schon jetzt zu erkennen, dass die beiden deutlich mehr spielen und singen. Man hört sie sehr oft "knistern", was ein sehr gutes Zeichen ist.Insgesamt wirken sie ausgeglichener und lebenslustiger.Allein aus gesundheitlichen Gründen sollte eine Vogellampe Pflicht sein für jeden Halter, da selbst im Hochsommer durch die Fensterscheiben nicht genug UV Licht zu ihnen durchdringt. Diese Tiere kommen schließlich aus Australien und die Sonne gehört zu ihren Lebensgrundlagen. An den Kosten sollte es auf keinen Fall scheitern, da die Birne lediglich einmal jährlich ausgetauscht werden muss.Ein passender Schirm ist wie der Vogelkäfig eine einmalige Anschaffung, von der die Kleinen ihr Leben lang profitieren. Wenn Sie jedoch trotzdem lediglich die Birne nutzen möchten dann bringen Sie diese bitte über dem Käfig an, da das Licht von oben auf die Vögel scheinen muss. Eine seitliche Anbringung wie auf dem Foto eines anderen Rezensionisten hier zu sehen ist leider nicht vogelgerecht - da das Licht die Vögel dann permanent blendet und entsprechend die Augen schädigt.Wer wert auf gesunde und glückliche Flieger setzt und nicht zufällig in Australien eine Außenvoliere betreibt, dem ist der Kauf einer Bird Lamp dringend zu empfehlen!! :-)
