I’ve been using this for about 4 months on an exo terra small x-tall (45x45x90) and I’ve mounted it using a glo-lamp I purchased separately. Using in conjunction with 2x 24w UVB fluorescent strips and Arcadia deep heat projector.I wasn’t sure about this when I first got it as the light comes across as very white but now I’m used to it its not so bad. The spotlight effect also took some time to adjust to but it does create some really nice shadows in the tank. The bulb DEFINITELY does the job plant wise if you can place things accordingly. My plants up top have good colouration and growth and the light is powerful enough to reach the plants on the “forest” floor (which my old strip jungle dawn didn’t manage in a 60cm tank).My only issue with the light is that it doesn’t photograph well because it’s just so bright!
