Good short, but the pockets are really bad:1. Too small pockets for male hands.2. Zipper gets stuck all the time broke on both sides after 7 days of use.3. Seems around pocket went loose.

He's 5'10.5" / 215 lbs. / 38" waist ". The outside material is good quality, but not stretchy fabric. The liner is also comfortable, a compression liner, not mesh. The material is on the thicker side, but not heavy. The zippered pockets are nice, to hold on to keys, etc. Not for a wallet size or full size. Overall a great pair of trunks he was comfortable before and after swimming., and a good deal. These trunks seem noticeably more comfortable than his last ( major brand), perhaps due to the others inner lining being made of a fine tighter mesh material that was used. These do fit as expected and appear to be made very well.This one has a nice, fine mesh liner that is not too loose and not too tight. The material dries very fast and he pprefers these for the lining, because if you wear spandex lined ones for too long, he said they chaf, and these don't cause his groin or legs to chaf on him.I recommend this item. Nice shorts. I would size up, Normally a medium and went large. My iPhone 12 Pro Max fits perfectly in zip pocket.
