Gorgeous boots, as I knew they would be - I love Ariat. A little snug to put on the first couple of times, perhaps because I have quite high arches, but after a few times wearing, they are fine. Incredibly comfortable both for riding and country walks alike. Recommend.

I originally intended to buy another pair of Dublin boots but they are no longer available. Turns out these Ariat boots are even better than the Dublin! They are comfortable from day 1 - wore them all day yesterday, on my feet walking and standing, and not only were they comfortable but my feet were warm for the first time all winter! Love how they look too! Unless you have very large calves there is plenty of room to tuck your jeans in. Muks are warm but don’t fit in a stirrup. Don’t need these to be waterproof now but definitely will in the spring. I love that they came with a boot horn to help preserve the integrity of the waterproof lining. Have a feeling I’ll be buying another pair soon - one for work/chores and one for wearing out and about (i.e. without manure and mud on them). One caution: if you want to wear thick socks be sure to buy them AT LEAST a half size bigger! Buy them - you won’t regret it!

I don't have a barn anymore but as a kid I always wanted boots like these. We couldn't afford them back then and I had a great pair of cowboy boots that did the job. No complaints. But, now I am older. Much older. And while I don't have that barn anymore, or even a horse, I have a big yard and a small vegetable garden that houses a fair number of biting ants. Initially my thought was to get some knee high rubber boots, but when I REALLY thought about it, I wanted leather. And so began my hunt. I love these. They are very comfortable and I could wear them for extended periods as soon as they were out of the box and on my feet. I can even wear them with ankle socks - the boot shaft is that comfortable on my bare skin. They look great, have a nicely rounded toe, a thick rubber sole and at the top of the boot, an elastic "V" so the boot expands nicely when kneeling. They are easy to put on and take off. Size wise, I am an 8.5 medium in running shoes, but a 9 in my Merrell clogs. The 8.5 size I ordered fit really well, I do not feel like I needed to go up a size to a 9, and an 8 would have been too small. Very happy. I might just order a pair for my daughter so she can live my childhood dream.

So baggy around the calf I sent them back. Nice looking boot but the average is huge goodness knows how big the wide fit is!
