Easy to read and fits kids well. The strap is soft but durable. Great for teaching time without a screen.

This is my 6-year-old son's first watch. I decided to buy him this as soon as he learned how to read an analog clock.Easy to read, cute and is sturdy. The strap is velcro and it is still working like new. We've had it for over two months now.

This is a nice watch for kids. It has a kid friendly look about it, but not too childish that kids might balk at it looking like a “baby” watch. In fact, the watch face isn’t childish at all. It isn’t digital so kids can actually learn how to tell actual time. The color combination makes it easy to read. Its displayed in both 12 hour time and military 24 hour time. The middle blue ring shows the military time reached past noon. For a kids watch it’s great that it’s water resistant because you never know what kids might get into. Even the strap is pretty rough and tumble. I like the look of the strap. It’s Velcro and easy to put on and take off without worrying with a buckle. My only issue is with the strap due to the fact that the Velcro isn’t the highest quality, and starts to fuzz quickly since it gets a lot of use. I’m not certain how difficult it will be to try to change the band. There are no holes for a tool to push the pins out to change the band. It does look like the pins might possibly be removable because I could use my fingernail to push the end, but I wasn’t easily able to put enough pressure to get the pin to come out. Because it wasn’t easy, and I’m not ready to change the band either, I didn’t persist. Just noted that there is the possibility that the end of the band may spell the end of the watch itself. That said, it isn’t an expensive watch and after my grandkids bang it up enough, I might rather replace the whole watch anyway, so the point is probably mute. Overall, this is a nice beginner watch.

The older kids all have their own watches and one of the younger ones (age 5) has been asking for a watch too. I happened to see this watch and thought it looked great. It's a smaller sized watch than what the older kids have, both the case and the band, so it's a good match for the five year old. The kids and myself all love the looks of this watch, it's SO colorful! The strap is also nice and soft, thankfully, so it's good on sensitive skin.Setting the watch was a bit difficult for me as I have some finger issues and I would say it appears the rubberized portion around the stem was made specifically so that the stem couldn't easily be popped out and changed by accident. Having said that, once I was able to get the stem out and the time set it has kept time as it should. Someone without finger issues will probably have an easier time setting it than I did.As I said the case and watch face are smaller sized for little kids. For me personally I can look at the face from a distance and as in the first picture see that it's about 5:12 or 5:13. Due to the smaller size I do have a bit of trouble telling specifically which minute the minute hand is on unless I look really closely. I personally don't think this is an issue, especially in a children's watch.Overall I think this is a great watch, especially as a first watch for kids, and I consider it to be a good value. I think it would make a very nice gift and I recommend it.
