For the price this lock is ok, but it's more of a deterrent than being effective. As others have written, the cables are thin. Buy something like a kanulock where each cable is 6-7 times thicker and needs a cable cutter to cut through them.

What an awesome idea!5 stars on ease of use.5 stars on value for money.5 stars on sturdiness.5 stars on the concept.0 stars on the length of the strap.0 stars ability to use as described.0 stars on the testing process of the seller or maker.I have a standard canoe, on a standard car with standard roof racks. The strap cannot be fastened once over the canoe...too short. Too bad cause I would really have liked to use these. I really like the idea. Maybe more suited to items other than canoes. A couple of extra bucks spent by manufacturer would have eliminated this issue.
