After a confirmed infestation and multiple treatments for bed bugs i picked these up and put them under my bed while simultaneously pulling it away from the wall. It actually worked to catch one of the adults hiding SOMEWHERE in my apartment, i observed it for about an hour and can confirm that once in the trap they cannot get out. There is a very fine dusting of talcum on the inside keeping them from climbing the inner walls.Even if it does not manage to catch a bug, they are very illusive and you'll generally not see them unless there is a large number, it should at least prevent them from climbing your bed, biting you and reproducing which definitely helped regain some peace of mind. After about 3-8 months you should be rid of bugs following treatments according to the pest control technician i spoke to, if you followed protocol.These are also quite large and will even fit my bulky 2x4 bed frame legs

AGGIORNAMENTO RECENSIONE DOPO UN ANNO!!!Dopo molti mesi che non le controllavo, oggi ho deciso, ad oltre un anno dalla posa delle trappole di metterle via. Con mia grande sorpresa ho visto che tre delle 8 trappole contenevano una decina di cimici morte da tempo al terzo stadio di sviluppo, vale a dire nello stadio dove hanno bisogno di sangue per passare allo stadio successivo. Le cimici si trovavano nel cerchio esterno, il che prova che provenivano dalle tane fuori dal letto. QUESTO PROVA L'EFFICACIA DEL PRODOTTO e il fatto che le cimici sono purtroppo maledettamente longeve, ho letto che possono stare a digiuno anche un anno - anno e mezzo - prima di morire di fame. Importante: il letto va tenuto staccato da pareti, mobili, le lenzuola e le coperte non devono toccare per terra. Solo le gambe del letto devono toccare per terra all'interno delle trappole.RECENSIONE DOPO ACQUISTOProdotto smart, sicuro ed efficace. Consente di catturare le cimici che si spostano dalle fessure della camera al letto attirate dal calore del corpo e dall’anidride carbonica. Se il letto è stato disinfestato a dovere impedisce alle cimici di raggiungervi e mordervi. Ho provveduto a disinfezione col vapore, di letto e stanza ma una deve essere sfuggita. La trappola dopo varie settimane l’ha catturata. Tenete conto che le cimici sono estremamente longeve, possono sopravvivere anche mesi a digiuno, quindi tenetele a lungo e disinfestate a vapore regolarmente. Gli insetticidi sono inefficaci, l’alternativa se non funziona col vapore è una disinfestazione fatta da professionisti con l’azoto, procedura però piuttosto costosa (svariate centinaia di euro) e senza garanzia di risultato (quindi da ripetere).

These are brilliant. Had a bed bug problem and had to take numerous steps to stop them from feasting on me. Wooden bed exchanged for a metal frame. Special mattress and pillow protectors. Pesticide treatments. But these traps really help monitor and control an ongoing issue (these bugs are really hard to get rid of). If you add talcum powder to the traps you’ll increase the traps effectiveness and incapacitate the bugs so you can monitor and control (I would assume they can’t breed when they are talc covered). I almost removed the traps from the feet of my bed after a year of peace only to discover bugs trapped in them when i went take them off. So glad I didn’t jump the gun. Can’t recommend them highly enough if you ever suffer these creatures.

Ya las chinches no suben a la cama, hay q separar la cama de otros muebles y paredes para q su única opción sea meterse en las trampas. Muy contenta y más tranquila.
