I bought this to replace a somewhat larger desk fan that I keep on the nightstand next to my bed, because I need air moving over me to sleep. My girlfriend doesn't like the air hitting her from the fan, so I bought this to clip it between us on the headboard and aim it at me, with the airflow going away from her.This fan is quite powerful for its size. There is significant airflow on the higher settings, but it doesn't get too loud. While made primarily of plastic it doesn't feel like it could break easily if you mishandle it. The clipping function is pretty strong, so I haven't had to worry about it rattling loose from use. It included some type of adhesive pad with a metal peg for wall-mounting - I assume if you don't want to make a hole in your wall. While I have not tested the adhesive pad if does look like it may hold the weight of the fan.The included battery pack is a plus. It has, so far, lasted at least 10 hours while fully charged and unplugged from the wall on the second highest speed setting. The battery pack itself has a peculiar design, with the USB-A port being on the underside. It makes sense logically as that is where it connects to the fan, but if you intend to detach the battery pack and use it to charge other devices it will have your charging cable sticking out at a right angle. That being said if, for whatever reason, you no longer have use of the battery pack, you can just plug a USB-A extender into the male end USB on the fan and have constant power.The option for portability is also great because of the battery pack. I can easily see myself taking this fan with me while camping, or when staying someplace that I know I will need a fan.This is a great product overall.
