I purchased the transom saver to replace the old style that came on the boat trailer, which you had to get down on your knees and pull a pin out to get the Tran saver off the trailer with this new transom saver. I just put a roller on the back of the trailer and you just slide Ears of the transom saver over the roller and let the motor down no more more hurt knees, getting too old
