I needed to replace my existing interconnects as these were used to replace $0.20 pre-amp jumper bars provided with my NAD C356BEE integrated. Ordered the Golden Gate 0.6M RCA from the Filtronique Amazon Marketplace store. Cable arrived as ordered within a couple of days, with excellent customer service from Filtronique. The Golden Gate RCA cable now links my NAD C546 CD player to the pre-amp section of the C356. Note that left and right inputs/outputs need to be with 3in of each other as these cables use a single jacket for both channels. This is a beautifully constructed cable with a very high end feel. Connections were a breeze. Straight out of the box, the sound is very clear, crisp and defined, with an urgent sense of timing. Still burning in, but this combo sounds extremely dynamic, even when using the player's USB mode as a source for playing 320kbps MP3s. Definitely satisfied so far. Looking forward to assessing after 100 or so hours using reference material!

After reading the earlier review I was somewhat reluctant to invest, however my experience with this cable has proved to be diametrically opposite to that of the previous reviewer... that said, much of this will come down to personal preference and be influenced by the equipment in use, so that's not to say they were wrong in their view.I purchased this cable to insert between my pre and power amps (1980's vintage Quad 34/306) replacing a relatively inexpensive OFC cable of indeterminate origin... incidentally, I also use Audioquest cables (from their less expensive Evergreen range) between my phono stage and headphone amplifier and currently use their 'budget' FLX/SLIP 14/2 speaker cables to hook up my Kef LS50's.Compared to my previous arrangement, the difference to my ears was an immediate and startling improvement across the whole frequency range, much cleaner treble and improved clarity in the mid-range, but most noticeable was the improved definition of the low frequencies... where previously these were a little muddy and blurred, the bass is now nice and tight and significantly better behaved. The improvements were apparent when listening to all types of music, across all genres from classical, through jazz to rock.Even after many years tinkering with hi-fi, I was really surprised that such a relatively small change could offer such an improvement.

I have a tower, evergreen and now golden gate RCA 0,6m. I'm using this with a Cambridge DacMagic DAC connected to a Primare i21 amplifier. I listen with a klipsch RP-600M speaker connected with a Kimber KK-8PR speaker cable braided RFI-Braid-Technology to my amp.If you know what to listen for in the music than it makes a difference to my ear if I would compare it to a Evergreen. With the Tower yes, with most of the songs this Goldengate has more soundstage, tighter deeper bass and vocals sound great too. Doing a blind test with the Evergreen I couldn't tell the differnce. Some songs that I know very well, I can tell some difference.
