To buy such an expensive, big eighties looking Turntable was not on my shortlist but after multiple bad experiences with other brands like Projekt and Dual I pulled the trigger and bought one for €235, I think a very good deal when I see the prices abroad. Everything functions perfect. What I like the most is the Bluetooth for my headphones so I can move freely. Almost completely made of plastic the size and weight gives it a feel of Premium Quality. Nice touch are the suction cup feet and light. The anti skating does its job wonderfully, so no distortions near the end of the record. Although I have it connected to a 20 year old Panasonic Home Cinema Set the pre-amp delivers more than average sound. The lift feels a bit cheap but the needle never skipped putting it on. Because it is a DJ device it has no automatic stop, so it keeps turning with the needle on the record. And for those who want to digitize I urge you not to go with the cheap usb ones, the sound will be dreadfull. Buy a TT with a good sound output like this one and you will get quality mp3 recordings.*Update 15 months later*It still runs fantastic. I am not a permanent listener I must say, there are weeks that I do not touch it. But when I do it keeps a joy to own this sweet sounding device. I listen to it through my cheap Sony WH-CH510 bluetooth headphones or my SMSL SA-50 amp connected to 2 KEF speakers.

The turntable stands out for its exceptional sturdiness and well-built design, with no discernible drawbacks associated with the device itself. It is currently connected via a wired setup to an Edifier S360DB 2.1 speaker system, providing an outstanding audio experience. Despite experimenting with Bluetooth connectivity for a few days, I couldn't detect any significant difference in sound quality between wired and wireless modes – though, admittedly, I'm not an audiophile. Nevertheless, the device continues to exceed expectations.At present, I have it wired to the active speakers to fully leverage its potential, and I have no complaints whatsoever. I weighed the pros and cons between this model and the LP60XBTBK, ultimately choosing the LP120, and I am pleased with my decision. The manual direct drive configuration, as opposed to an automatic belt drive, has proven to be a worthwhile investment, justifying the slightly higher cost.

Ik ben zelf ongeveer een jaar geleden begonnen met deze hobby, en was op zoek naar een formidabele platenspeler voor een redelijke prijs.Het leuke van deze platenspeler is dat je er aan kan sleutelen. Zelf heb ik een betere slipmat gekocht, misschien koop ik ooit nog een betere naald.Ik heb hem nu een maand en ben er nog steeds erg tevreden mee.Enige puntje was dat de handleiding niet geheel klopt; mijn anti-skate staat nu op 0.3 ipv het aanbevolen 2, hetgeen veel te hoog was.

Eindelijk mijn oude LP's van zolder weer kunnen beluisteren. Heerlijk! En wat een super goed geluid produceerd deze platenspeler. Warm aanbevolen!!!

Eppure, con l’Audio-Technica LP120XBT-USB, è stato tutto sorprendentemente semplice e gratificante.Il montaggio iniziale è stato molto più intuitivo di quanto temessi. Nella scatola c’è tutto il necessario e il manuale (chiaro e ben illustrato) guida passo-passo. Ho impiegato meno di 20 minuti per sistemare tutto, bilanciare il braccio e posizionare la testina. Anche l’allineamento della puntina, che temevo fosse una parte delicata, è risultato agevole grazie alle istruzioni dettagliate.Dal punto di vista tecnico, la trazione diretta si fa sentire: il motore parte immediatamente, senza il minimo tentennamento, e il piatto gira in modo silenzioso e stabile. La qualità costruttiva è solida e dà subito l’impressione di un prodotto fatto per durare.Una delle caratteristiche che più ho apprezzato è la connettività Bluetooth. In un attimo ho collegato il giradischi a una soundbar moderna, senza bisogno di cavi o amplificatori esterni. Per chi è alle prime armi e non ha un impianto hi-fi, questa funzione è davvero un punto a favore. Volendo, si può comunque usare l’uscita USB per digitalizzare i vinili: ho provato anche quella, e il processo è semplice.Il suono? Pulito, ricco e ben bilanciato. Ovviamente molto dipende anche dagli speaker, ma la resa è pienamente soddisfacente anche per un ascoltatore inesperto come me. È bello riscoprire la musica su vinile con un tocco moderno, senza complicazioni tecniche.In conclusione, consiglio vivamente l’Audio-Technica LP120XBT-USB a chiunque voglia avvicinarsi al mondo dei dischi in vinile senza sentirsi sopraffatto.
