The adapter works in the sense that it lets you play Bluetooth audio on your car stereo. Be prepared to modify it to be usable though. Used with Opel Vectra 2008 and CD30.GoodNice audio quality. The contacts seem robust enough.BadToo short cables makes the installation very difficult. It’s extremely hard to make the connectors fit in the limited space behind the radio unit. It’s not possible to tuck away the connectors far enough, so you have to simultaneously wiggle the radio and try to stick your hand behind it to push the connectors and cables to one side. It took me several attempts and removal of the climate control unit before I managed to fit everything so the radio unit could slide all the way in.Power to the Bluetooth receiver is drawn from the always on supply to the radio. It means that the unit is always powered. It won’t automatically connect to your phone when you power on the car and it won’t stop playing until you get out of Bluetooth range. I had to reroute the power cable to the cigarette lighter circuit to improve the function. Now the Bluetooth receiver connects when I start the car and stop playback when I turn the ignition off. Too bad the adapter didn’t come with this from the beginning.

Adapter funktioniert gut. Er ist aber bei ausgeschaltetem Fahrzeug noch aktiv. Er benötigt also Strom. Somit zieht er die Batterie in wenigen Tagen leer. Ist mir jetzt 2x passiert. Auto wurde 3-4 Wochen nicht bewegt. Batterie leer.
