I added this to my 2009 Ford Fiesta to provide an accessory power socket that is only powered when the vehicle ignition is on. (In the 2009 Fiesta the factory fitted power socket is always liveso risks flattening the battery if devices are left plugged in.)I piggy backed the rear windscreen wiper fuse that is only powered when the vehicle ignition is on (The Fiesta fuses are located behind the glovebox). This kit was fairly easy to fit once I had watched a few YouTube videos.My new power supply is used for a Spedal Smart Car Stereo (also from Amazon) which adds Android Auto and Apple Car Play to my vehicle. Both the kit and the Spedal work brilliantly and have brought my in car entertainment right up to date.

Mini fuse tap can be used in any spare slot supplying 12v once car ignition is on.Used to move from 12v cigarette supply to fuse tap as the vehicle had permanent supply to 12v even after switching engine off.

Great and easy to setup, that lighter will remain on with something plugged in and hidden.

So far this item works really well and is easy to install, there is however one major downflaw, the wire length, the wire length is hardly long enough to reach my centre console from my fuse box so i couldn't have this where i originally wanted. The seller/manufacturer REALLY needs to extend this cable or add other options for longer products. But overall, easy install, working fine.
