  • De textielsokken houden de auto in de winter in beweging en bieden betrouwbare grip op sneeuw en ijs. Gecertificeerd volgens EN16662-1:2020, d.w.z. goedgekeurd als alternatief voor sneeuwkettingen in alle EU-lidstaten (behalve Oostenrijk). Goedgekeurd voor sneeuwkettingen vereist in Zwitserland. Voldoet aan alle eisen van de Franse winterrijvoorschriften ("Loi Montagne"). Erkend en goedgekeurd volgens de huisnormen van vele bekende autofabrikanten.
  • Snelle en eenvoudige montage en demontage. Zelfcentrerend tijdens het rijden. Geen trillingen tijdens het rijden en laag geluidsniveau. Compatibel met alle elektronische beveiligingssystemen (ABS, ESP, enz.) Gewicht minder dan 2 kg, dus veel gemakkelijker te gebruiken dan conventionele metalen sneeuwkettingen. Veiligheidswaarschuwing

AutoSock is gemonteerd op de aandrijfwielen. Begin de montage vanaf de bovenkant van de band naar beneden, verplaats het voertuig met een halve wielrotatie en trek AutoSock in positie. Houd elektronische beveiligingssystemen geactiveerd (bijv. ASR, ESP). Zorgvuldig starten en het vermijden van draaiende wielen noodzakelijk. AutoSock centreert tijdens het rijden. Maximale snelheid van 50 km/u. Volg de instructies in de handleiding van de auto.

Bought 2 pairs of these for my AWD SUV to take the kids skiing. First night got 3 inches of snow at the rental house, couldn't get out of the driveway until I put the auto socks on. With the auto socks it was like driving with snow tires. Great traction. Second night got 10 inches of snow. Same thing with auto socks there was no problem starting/stopping or turning.Couple of complaints though, First is durability or lack there of. One of the four socks completely ripped apart at the seams after about 3 miles. I was only going 25mph on tightly packed snow covered road when it fell apart. The second complaint is the noise, if you go above 20 mph, it makes a loud thumping noise. The 30mph limit is a bit low as all other vehicles with regular snow chains or snow tires were all going 40mph or more. I was the only car in the right lane and everyone was flashing me and passing me.But these are way easier to put on and take off than traditional chains. Just buy an extra pair as they won't last very long.

I recently purchased my first truck instead of a Jeep and needed something so I'm legal and safe on the roads. The recommends against chains so I went with these. I've tried them on, but not had to use them while driving. In a wet driveway they were easy enough to put on, hopefully that translates to roadside also. I was disappointed that after looking around so much to find the proper size for my truck tires, they certainly seem like a very loose fit. I wish there was some way to tighten them for a better fit. After purchasing a single pair for my rear tires to see how they fit, I won't be purchasing an additional pair for the front. They seem so loose that I would be worrying about hanging up on things. This is on my stock F150 with 275/60/R20.

I recently purchased the AutoSock 870 Tire Snow Socks, and I couldn’t be happier with their performance. Installing them was a breeze, and they proved to be a superior alternative to tire chains. I have not used the Autosock yet, but am compelled to write a review to save you a headache, time and $$. Do not trust the size/fitment chart on Amazon, go to the website to confirm if product fit. Received the sock, checked the tire size on the package and it doesn’t match what’s on Amazon and is wrong. Hoping the quality and use of the sock is great, but just have to order the right one now.
