Ottimo acquisto. C’è solo da rimuovere la batteria quando si ripone, perché nell’astuccio, lo strumento si accende da solo.

Ottimo micrometro a batteria. Due minimi difetti sono :1 che occorre spegnerlo dopo l'uso manualmente altrimenti sta acceso sino a scaricare la pila; 2 non va bene per montaggi a calamita in quanto la calamita non fa ritornare a 0 il tastatore. Consiglio comunque l'acquisto.

Good smooth action and clear display. Doesn't auto shut off to save battery which is useful as it automatically re zeroes when turned off which is a pain if you have a longer duration machining operation. Certainly helps compensate for not having a DRO on either of my machines

Like most cheaply made devices, this device does not have an extremely low power storage stage. If you leave the battery in the device while it is off, it will drain till its dead in less than a year. Because of this, most of these devices also allow you to put the battery in backwards, so that it doesn't drain any current at all. While this is a PITA, it does work. Also be aware that the oils on your fingers are acidic, and will damage the surface of any metal, batteries included. To ensure that battery lasts as long as it can, make sure that you use alcohol, or some other degreaser to clean the cell if touched, and don't touch it afterwards.I took of 1 star because of the lack of an extremely low power state. Manufacturers need to learn that this practice is no longer acceptable.
