It appears i have been automatically upgraded to the DG80P (Bluetooth5.3) instead of the DG80 that i ordered. Couldnt find anything online about this new product. On the box it just says "aptX Adaptive", which got me a bit worried since i bought it for the aptX Low Latency. But according to the user manual the DG80P supports both aptX Low Latency and aptX Adaptive (and the usual aptX HD, aptX, and SBC). And so yes, after plugging in, pairing with my aptX LL receiver, i now finally have a low latency bluetooth audio stream! The audio/video sync test movies you can find on youtube show that it actually is about 30-40ms. Very nice!

Bought this to use my Sennheiser Momenteum True Wireless (1st gen) buds with my PS5. The buds have bluethooth 5.0 + aptX.The pairing took a little more tries then I hoped (5 tries on ps5, also some on my pc), but was possibly due to my tv also trying to connect to my buds. Close all possible bluethooth receivers before attempting to pair. After pairing I started Far Cry 6 and am happy to say I did not notice any audio lag. The dongle is plugged into the back of my PS5. I was also surprised to notice that the volume up and down tap gestures of my buds still worked (hold left down, hold right up). Even the option to stream in external sounds trough the microphone (2 taps right) was possible!Sound quality is great and I would say better than the Sony pulse headset (tried one before buying this). Also buds are simply more comfortable for me (tend to get hot quickly with the pulse headset). Had only 1 instance of crackling sounds, but for a split second and not repeated. Time will tel I guess. Distance from my tv and PS5 was roughly 2 to 3 meters. 3D audio options were all availlable trough the PS5 settings as well.All in all, the Avantgree D80 works as advertised and is a great (fairly economic) option if you already have some good bluethooth 5.0 aptX headset/buds lying around.

After the laptop hibernates for a while it might end up having trouble connecting with the intended devices which requires a reboot, as just removing the stick and putting it back in doesnt fix it, but other than that no complaints.

as opposed to generic (not audio specific) bt dongles this one gave no lip sync problems when used to watch movies. you do have to have a bt 5.0 compatible dac for that though with low latency support.nice device that does what i want

Initieel contact met verkoper ging vlot maar na verloop van tijd totaal geen feedback meer. Ongetwijfeld uit een slechte batch gehad. Achteraf gekocht en die werkte out-of-the-box in dezelfde poort waar de DG80 niet werkte

the audio quality just sounds kind of bad and there's a delay in the sound

The item arrived promptly and well protected. It is easy to set up and works well when I connected my Bose QC35ii to my PS5. I do not need to have a mic though so I didn't get the one with the mic.

This device is awesome. Just plug it in and it works.Pairing with two Bluetooth headsets was perfect the first time and very fast. When I initially plugged it in to my Chromebook it immediately went into pairing mode, so I setup the 1st headset. It took about 10 seconds to find it and pair it. I pressed the button for 5 seconds and again it went into pairing mode and the 2nd headset was ready to go. Fired up a video and BAM! Crystal clear audio out of both headsets with no noticeable delay.I took off the headsets and suddenly the sound stopped. What?? My headsets have the feature when directly connected via Bluetooth to my phone or laptop that when I take the headsets off whatever I'm watching or listening to pauses. When I put them back on they resume. I put the headset back on and BAM! the show started playing again. Wow, features I didn't think would be supported are on this adapter. Cool!Ok, so before purchasing the adapter, I asked if this adapter was supported by the Amazon Fire Cube. Of course, someone who probably doesn't even own one of these adapters said NO, it won't work. Well I'm here to tell you that he is misinformed and completely wrong.First I plugged it into my original Fire Cube as it natively has a USB A port and instantly my headsets came to life with audio.Next I dug out my Micro USB to USB adapter and popped it into my Kindle Fire. Again, instant audio.Fire Cube (1st & 2nd Edition) - Yup!Even my Fire Stick with a special adapter.Apparently Amazon really has their stuff together. It sees this as a generic audio device and starts outputting on it immediately. YES IT DOES TURN OFF AUDIO COMING THROUGH HDMI just like it does if you pair a Bluetooth device directly to the Fire device. The only difference here is that I can have 2 headsets connected to this adapter while all of the Fire devices, my phone, and laptop will only allow one headset to be connected at a time.It works, it's reliable, it's super easy to setup. Just buy it!FYI, I did't give a star rating to Tech Support because I had no need to contact Tech Support (so there!)

Very clever bit of kit - acts like a virtual sound card while connecting to your Bluetooth headphones/speakers etc. I've tried this with several headphones including Sony 1000XM3s streaming audio from a Linux box (Mint 20.3) and an Asus Chromebook. Each instantly recognised the DG80 and routed audio to it. Pairing with the phones is quite easy, but use a different set and you need to reset the DG80.Sound quality - it is clearly better than the inbuilt Bluetooth chips in my machines. So much so that flac files sound better than 320k mp3s and, just as importantly, it removes the lag between audio and video on iPlayer, Netflix and any video files - no lip sync problems with this.Range - much better and more stable than inbuilt chips when used in my house.Conclusion - if sound quality, range and audio-video synchronisation matter to you, this transmitter is worth the outlay.

Los móviles suelen soportar bien los dispositivos Bluetooth, pero los sistemas operativos de escritorio (Windows, Linux, macOS) suelen peor funcionamiento Bluetooth. Yo por motivos de trabajo uso una versión de Linux un tanto antigua que no soporta adecuadamente el cambio del modo "llamada" (sonido y micrófono simultáneo, HFP/HSP) al modo "música" (sólo audio, A2DP). Además, usando dos portátiles es un poco rollo cambiar de ordenador. Con lo que al final, no uso mis auriculares con los ordenadores tanto que me gustaría... porque es un poco rollo.Con este tipo de aparatos, el cacharrito USB actúa en si mismo como un dispositivo Bluetooth que se empareja con dispositivos de audio (auriculares, altavoces, etc. No se puede emparejar con nada más) y se presenta al ordenador que está conectado como un dispositivo USB audio.Esto tiene muchas ventajas; USB audio funciona mucho mejor en cualquier sistema operativo, y además el emparejado es contra el USB, no contra el ordenador, así que con cambiar el USB de ordenador... el auricular "te sigue". Además, el cacharrito USB puede implementar los codecs "buenos" de Bluetooth aunque el ordenador no los soporte, con lo que en muchas ocasiones podremos disfrutar de mejor sonido (o latencia) que con los codecs que soporta nuestro ordenador.Lo malo es que es al ser un interfaz limitado (dos leds y un botón), es un poco más tostón emparejar y configurar el aparato, pero una vez emparejado, funciona muy bien.En definitiva, si tenéis auriculares Bluetooth y os dan problemas al usarlos con un ordenador, probad un cacharro de estos.
