Aangeschaft voor lange vliegreis naar Curacao en v.v., een zwarte voor mezelf en een witte voor mijn vrouw. Beide komen keurig verpakt in plat doosje dat eveneens een stoffen etuitje bevat om alles in op te bergen; de adapter, een USB-C USB-A kabeltje, en een 2-naar-1 stekkeradapter (sommige vliegtuigen hebben nog 2 audio stekker aansluitingen).Het paren van Apple Airpods Pro 2 is een fluitje van een cent, mits je de bluetooth van je iPhone uitzet, omdat de airpods anders automatisch met je telefoon verbinden.De vlucht naar Curacao duurt 9,5 uur en op het einde gaf de adapter aan dat zijn batterij opraakte, hetgeen opgelost kon worden door 'm met voornoemd kabeltje aan een USB-A uitgang van het entertainment systeem te hangen. Daardoor twijfelde ik een beetje aan de batterij-capaciteit (vooraf niet opgeladen, adapter nieuw uit doosje gebruikt!), maar voor de vlucht terug helemaal opgeladen, waarna de adapter het de hele weg deed.Prima oplossing voor wie van zijn bedrade, over-het-oor, ruisonderdrukkende, grote koptelefoon afwil. De bluetooth adapter is bovendien makkelijk te bedienen, lekker klein, en niet duur!

Since I am a frequent air traveller, using my own noise cancelling headset, the need for a hardwire connection was restricting my movement. With this product I plug-in, paired and was enjoying a good quality sound for over 12 hours flying time. It is small, comes with a small pouch, which fits in my headset case. At first time use and happy with it, long term needs more hours of use. One side remark, the color is grayish/black and easy to miss, a more conspicuous color would support not leaving it behind.

Works flawlessly. I was a little worried about latency because I don't own a headset that supports AptX Low Latency, but it is fine with normal AptX. Being able use your own over ear noise cancelling headset on a long flight is invaluable.Battery lasts a long time and can be recharged while using the device.

I bought this primarily for using my AirPods Pro (1st Gen) with in flight entertainment systems during flight. While I didn’t yet try that, I plugged it into my laptop and played a video. My worry with such devices is that the audio would have a delay, which was not the case at all. I was initially eying an AirFly Pro. However, while the AirFly Pro dubs as a BlueTooth receiver, it only has BlueTooth 5.0 while this Avantree device supports BlueTooth 5.3 plus aptX (which AirPods Pro do not support). It even comes with a pouch, an USB A to USB C cable and a 2 prong airline audio plug. I think this is a great little device for a very affordable price, and I’m sure this will be great on long haul flights.[update]Now that I have used it on a couple of flights I can only re-affirm what I wrote above. It worked great with my AirPods Pro with the inflight entertainment, while watching a movie the audio was always in sync and there was no noticeable delay. The battery is really capable and while I didn't really need to charge it, I sometimes topped it up with the short usb-c to usb-c cable and an usb-a to usb-c dongle, plugging it into the inflight entertainment system's usb-a outlet. You should be able to manage a 20 hour flight without charging though.

Ordered two of these, also one for my dad, who has a Bluetooth supported hearing aid. This device could be directly connected/paired to his hearing aid, meaning he could enjoy the onboard flight entertainment directly in his ears, which is a massive improvement. Used on a 6hr flight, at end of flight approx. 25% battery used. So even without ability of charging suitable for longer flights. Also works on any device with 3.5mm jack.Delay of sound is barely noticeable

Tested at home with my AirPods, worked OK. Low latency, but connection is not super stable it will crash into a loud white noise after 30-45 minutes but immediately recovers after switching off and back on. So far I did not mind this too much for a product for this price.But my biggest problem is that it is advertised to allow 2 wireless connections at the same time for dual listening and this is the main reason why I bought this (to watch movies together in the airplane). But this doesn’t work!! I have contacted the tech support of the manufacturer and they told me “it does work with 2 headsets but not with 2 ear-pods”. I don’t know how this makes any sense and this still seems like false advertising to me.
