There may be better binders out there but this is the best I have had. The rings line up well without grabbing the paper and they open and close very easily with one hand using the lever. Using a hole punch with the larger 9/32" holes also helps.

This is very high quality binder. The EZD rings highlighted in the product description are excellent. Your pages and the binder will always lay flat on whatever page you open them too. They also allow you to flip through hundreds of pages with ease and without worrying about ripping pages.The large cover is also a nice touch. It keeps any post-it tabs or dividers you insert covered and protected. The inside of each cover has two jacket pockets which give you a little more depth and nearly a full inch of extra width than necessary for a loose sheet of A4 paper, which is perfect for those handouts that don't fit.

Although these are a tad expensive, they are beautifully manufactured and leave a very nice impression. They are extremely easy to load and the spine/face inserts slip right in. I always count on Avery for fine products, and this is no exception.

This is NOT a 1 inch binder. It is much bigger, more than 1.5 inches.

The one-touch feature is very helpful, as are the slanted D-rings. There isn't as sharp of a turn in the D-ring, which helps protect the pages. There's also a professional-looking slot for an identification card on the side.
