He instalado este candado en una Kalkhoff Voyager. Me encanta como queda. Compré los soportes de instalación (no incluidos), porque leí en alguna reseña, que eran necesarios. Pues en mi bici, no han hecho falta, porque da la casualidad, que el cuadro de la bici ya tenía dos orificios, y me ha encajado a la perfección. Eso sí, he aprobechado los tornillos de los soportes de instalación. Por lo menos, este candado, podría incluir un par de tornillos.Y me gusta que la llave, sólo se puede quitar si el candado está bloqueado. Si está desbloqueado, la llave no puede quitarse. Así no tienes que pensar, si siempre la llevas encima, o no.

Nice unit that I mounted on my classic 3-spd using the recommended attachment fittings (purchased separately). The removable trim piece covering the attachment points is a bit flimsy and fiddly, but once properly seated is solid and gives a nice finished look, keeping the unit easy to clean. Once solidly secured with mounting bolts, the unit locked and unlocked smoothly, but when I temporarily mounted it with just zip ties, the slight movement seemed to cause the lock to hang up. It was dramatically smoother once securely mounted to the frame with bolts, using the adapter straps that I ordered for it. Otherwise, the lock works well, and it accepts the plugin chain without the need for a key when locking--a very nice feature when trying to manage threading the chain around and through things, because you can plug it in with just one hand. Like all these dutch-style wheel locks, it retains the key when unlocked, so you always have the key when you arrive somewhere and need to lock your bike. To unlock, just insert the key, turn, and the lock pops open, and you are ready to ride---no fumbling to put away the key nor risk of losing it. Looks nice on my bike, too.

Just about clears 2.3" slicks on 23mm internal rims, great for portable town security.

Solid lock, does what it says on the tin. It doesn't come with screws; if you're using the flex strips (sold separately) because your frame doesn't have the mount points, all of the screws you needed will be included.
