These are by far the bang for your buck for gunwhale straps and you get 4 with the slip loops included! High quality, work perfectly. Will buy these again for sure. You cannot beat the price!

I really like these hooks. If you look around there are two basic types of ratchet strap hooks - the ones that are bent all the way around like these, and the ones that are only bent part way around. I think this style is more secure unless you want to go for hooks with latches...My only issue with these, and it happened pretty consistently, is that once they have tension on them it takes a lot of force to get the cam to release. When it does you are ramming fingers or thumbs into the sharper corners of the buckle. I think you are better off using a tool like pliers to release the strap.Also I think these are designed for something like a motorcycle where you can push the suspension down while tightening the strap. Otherwise you'd have a pretty hard time getting them really tight. Work fine for my bike and I am still using them...
