Useful in weather stations and home air quality monitoring. Arduino support from good old Adafruit - works first time with the example provided with their library. Simple 3-wire connection (voltage, ground and data on a digital pin) and I had this working with an Arduino Nano in under 10 minutes, with the serial port streaming the output to Tera Term. Serial monitor in Arduino works OK too.Great for home IoT projects, with easy connection to ESP8266 & 32 modules.AZ-D's ebook goes through the setup, libraries etc. step-by-step and is well worth downloading,For the more adventurous it is also well known and supported in micropython, with a simple 'import dht' command - works fine with no issues. Example scripts are easily found on the Web.One thing to note. This version is the sensor itself, and the pins are too slender to use with the standard flying leads that we all have. It works ok in standard solderless breadboard but is a bit loose. AZ-D also provide the DHT22 as a module, with a small PCB and 'standard sized' pins. The sensor-only version is OK if you are soldering to a board; otherwise the module might be more useful.In summary, the DHT22 should be a staple part of any maker's component box as it is so useful and easy to implement.Hope that helps.Philip

Los he usado para construir diversos dataloggers, y van perfectos, las mediciones entre las diversas sondas se correlación casi perfectamente entre ellas. Es importante mantener el DHT22 bien ventilado, y lejos de la placa sobre la que lo montemos, ya que en mis primeros diseños, lo tenía casi pegado, y se veía influenciado por la temperatura de la placa.

Housing is a bit voluminous but provides the necessary protection for the vulnarable humidity sensor. Straighforward in use.Turns out to be accurate too.
