I have a 3 year old (roughly 14½ kilos) and this carries him well. The plastic in the seat part helps distributes his weight really well across my waist and lower back. This makes it very comfortable carrying my son.

As per the pictures and selling information. This was supposed to be baby carrier with a stool however when we receive it was only having the stool and main part being the baby carrier was missingPretty disappointed

Don't get the good reviews for this.The instructions fail to explain what you do with the material and straps that flaps around the inside when on. I worked out baby sits in it and it lies in top of padded seat, however although we'll padded, there is no disguising that the buckles are on the underneath of this material where babys bottom is and must be really uncomfortable, I coukd feel the buckles through it.... Annoying as it lies on a comfy padded seat.... But what's the point if you have to lay this material with buckles on top of the seat to be able to use it!Also the instructions which have photos are very small you would need a magnifying glass!Lots of straps and bits, would any one ever use all these configurations....?Baby also doesn't feel close to me on the harness as there's a lot of space inside (she's 9 months so not small).I have returned and looked for some thing more simple and comfortable for baby and me
