Ce phare s'attache au porte-bagage arrière de son vélo. Il y a deux vis à boulonner à son porte bagage pour le fixer.Les câbles ne sont pas fournis.Le contact électrique des fils se fait en pressant sur un bouton en dessous du phare pour pouvoir passer le câble dans un trou à l'arrière du phare, puis à relâcher afin que le pincement tienne le câble en place.Avec l'éclairage avant que j'utilise,l'électricité accumulée avec la dynamo est retenue pour quelques minutes.Un jour, il m'est arrivé un jour de faire un arrêt-minute sur un parking extérieur, de nuit dans le brouillard, et en revenant avec ma baguette sous le bras, j'ai trouvé immédiatement l'endroit où j'ai attaché mon vélo en plein dans ce brouillard, car le phare arrière éclairait d'un rouge si bien, qu'on ne pouvait pas le rater de nuit.Je suis sérieusement certain qu'avec ce phare arrière, on devient très visible par les piétons et les automobilistes.En vous souhaitant de joyeux moment à rouler sur votre vélo,Vitaminement vôtre,Potassium.

Easy to install even for somebody who has no idea how to do bike repairs. my one to go light as it does charge so when you wait for the lights to change you are still visible. love it!

I ordered two of these as they appeared to be better value than another brand costing almost three times as much. These lights actually use batteries for the backup and mine run for about nine minutes before switching off. This is a bit disappointing and had I known this I would have bought the dearer ones as they utilise a supercapacitor that charges off the dynamo to provide the backup and therefore never need batteries replacing or any maintenance. I will be using these a lot at night so will look at the possibility of fitting rechargeable batteries and a rectifier to charge them from the dynamo. I should then not have to worry about replacing or recharging batteries and have the maintenance free system I had hoped for. The light from these is good and the electrical connections are easy to make and positive, just requiring a sprung button to be depressed and a stripped wire to be inserted. Four weeks on and I have downgraded to three stars as I am having a recurring problem with the lights turning themselves on after heavy rain. Water gets inside the lights and shorts something in the circuitry. Unscrewing the lens and drying the electronics and lens (which covers with condensation) resolves the issue until the next downpour. I doubt it will not be terribly long before the self tapping screw that holds the lens on no longer holds and the lights will then have to be replaced. That will be with some that use capacitors for backup as I have used some of these now for nine years with no problems or maintenance at all!
