BACH CELLO SUITES FOR ELECTRIC BASS BASSE

È Bach.......ASSOLUTO !!!!!

As a former cellist who has recently started playing bass guitar, I was overjoyed to see this book was available. It is generally great, but there are some transcription errors. I can understand some, given the standard bass tuning only goes to the E two octaves below middle C, while the cello goes to the C below that E, but the harmonically sensible solution would have been to stay on the correct note above the low note. I have also found a couple of other wrong notes. However, overall this is a great book. Perhaps a new edition with corrections is due?

バッハの無伴奏チェロ組曲は高校生の頃から大好きで，シュタルケルやフルニエ，マイスキー・・・たくさんの音源を購入しそれこそ数え切れないくらい聴いてきた．その中にはチェロ以外で演奏されたものも含む．自分でもやってみたい気持ちは高まる．しかし，自分はチェロが弾けないし所有してもいない．これまで，フルート用やギター用に編曲された楽譜で本当に楽しんだ(今でも)．しかし，所詮旋律楽器，低音が弱い．そして，最近，はまっているのがエレキベース用の編曲譜を見つけた．これで，私のmusic lifeはさらに充実．最後に一言，4弦をdrop D tuningにしたりする．それが嫌な人は，買わないように．
