This shelf has sturdy sides, but the front slits are rather flexible. It is slightly on the heavy side when unpacked, which was a surprise. Its main attraction was that it could be installed on a smooth tiled surface without using screws, even though these were also provided. I had a nice spot picked out in the kitchen, on a diagonal from a similar shelf.The non-drill method involves the use of two small squares of two-sided adhesive tape and a small tube of glue. Experience has taught me that if screws are provided with a unit, it is probably an indication that the provided glue or adhesive backing will prove to be unreliable, and this turned out to be the case.48 hours after installation, one side of the shelf became loose despite following the instructions - this at the touch of a single finger. The installation instructions on this page differed slightly from the ones on the insert with respect to the application of the glue. Fortunately, I had applied more glue than specified, which is what held one side attached. No explanation for why it worked on one side but not the other. It says to press it to the wall for 3-5 seconds: 2 minutes later, the shelf was sliding down if you let it go. I ended up propping it in place for the 48 hours so was disapointed that only one side was firmly affixed. 3 days after installation (24 hours after re-applying glue to the side which had become loose), and the shelf still flexed downwards if slightly pressed. I cannot see it maintaining much weight and certainly not long term.Had the adhesive tape been of the transparent type which requires you to press out the bubbles then the installation might have had a greater chance of success.Update: Another 48 hours later and the shelf crashed down. It was holding a half-filled container of coffee and a packet of Ibuprofen. It is solidly built, so is still in one piece. However, it should never have been marketed with a glue-on option as even the weight of the shelf on its own cannot be sustained by the tiny double-sided tapes and the included glue.

Das Duschregal ohne Bohren kommt mit einem Klebepadset, lässt sich aber auch durch Bohren an die Wand bringen. Es ist schön matt schwarz und hat keine Verarbeitungsfehler oder sonstiges. Nach dem Anbringen sollte man es gut trocknen lassen, damit man es belasten kann. Wir verwenden es in der Küche für die Küchenutensilien, daher kann ich zur Verwendung im feuchten Badezimmer nichts sagen.

They look great, fitted into our corner as a replacement! Plenty of space for shower gels, shampoo etc., seem strong steel, so hoping they last well, at least they won’t peel like our last ones. So far pleased with them and would recommend.
