So far so good unlike other thermometers this one doesn’t change in the sun and his power by the sun the temperature changes when we get rain and when we get a hot streak. The last 3 thermometers I purchased I didn’t like because they had to much going on. This thermometer is easy as pie. Just throwIt in the pool and let it do it it’s work. Easy to read. I have children who have submerged this product and it works great still so I would say very waterproof.

Use this for getting the water temp of the lakes I like to swim in. Takes a minute or so to get the actual temperature but so far no complaints.Does exactly what I need it to do. Temperature reads the same as another thermometer I have so seems accurate.
