Mate içmeyi seven herkes için kesinlikle tavsiye ederim!

I was looking for a low maintenance and solid solution to couple with a thermos of water and have maté while on the go. Something to have a portion of herb ready to be used, infused whenever and then packed in a bag, waiting for the next coffee break to be re-infused.This kit did not meet my expectations :- Even with water at the proper temperature (60 °C-70 °C) for maté, the steel double layers make it actually harder not to burn the herb (or yourself), since it prevents the heat from dissipating. Moreover, it has no real use since the 200ml portions are always sipped way before the infusion has ever time to cool down, even without thermal insulation.- The lid has a waterproof joint but, while packed, the hole meant for the bombilla allows for herb and dust to escape when it is still dry or for remaining waterdrops to leak when already used.- If you want to keep the lid while using the bombilla, filling the cup with water again can quickly become messy, requiring to lift or remove the bombilla while aiming for the small opening.- The flat bombilla that fits in the lid (the spoon-shaped one does not) has holes that let too much herb pass through. This does not occur so much on a normal still use, but it becomes an issue in the situation mentioned above, which induces a lot of wriggling.Overall, while the build/manufacturing quality looks really solid, with good materials and finishing, this kit advertised for travelling feels over-engineered and does not fulfil this purpose. I am therefore sending it back, and I will go for a more rustic solution: a small enamel mug and a large cork lid to make it dust/leak-proof when removing the bombilla and packing it away.
