My 5 year old daughter asked Santa for squishies for Christmas, so I went on a search. Little does she know that there is even such a thing as a squishy maker! Since it is such a cool gift, our scout elves, Smooch and King couldn’t wait for Christmas to bring it to her!I honestly love any gift where we can spend time creating together and this one seems like it will be such an enjoyable activity. I really prefer squishies to gooey slime because it contains the mess when playing (but will be fun getting messy when you make it!) Also, every kid loves anything glow in the dark so that is a major plus.I can’t wait to see her reaction when she finds it tomorrow morning and look forward to seeing her transform into Dr. Squish for the day!

I followed the directions and her video tutorial- all of them eventually burst (even small ones that fit in the palm of my hand) and/or come undone, despite the clips (you’re really better off using an elastic band than those things). I’d say it’s a scam, because the provided supplies literally just don’t work: the squishy balls tear after a while (I’ve only had this product for just over a day) and sometimes even have tiny holes in them (it was not around anything sharp- I had just made it when its insides started slowly leaking out, until it burst). Also, nothing glows in the dark- and the disappoint of waiting until the middle of night, making sure my room was basically pitch black, only to see…pitch black, saddened me greatly.

All I have to say is..... "WHAT A MESS". I have no idea what Dr. Squish was thinking. If this was a medical Dr. We would all be dead! I purchased the glow in the dark sets for my 2 grandchildren ages 4 and 5. I did realize it was for a much older child. I mysel, could not get this product to work. The latex of the balloon you are supposed to make the squishy in is so thick. It's impossible to keep them CLOSED! They do however give you clips for closing. They do not work! At least they didn't for me! My grandchildren and I has sparkles and squishy soultion all over the place! 😂😂 Definitely recommended for Older children. At least 9 or10 year old. In my case. Over 65. Lol 😁

I got this for my 11-year-old daughter who loves these types of kits. She has quite a few different kits doing various different activities. This is not one of her most favorite, although she did use it and it did enjoy doing it a few times. She was able to make the squishies and put different things inside of them, but when she plays with the finished product she had to do so over the sink because they break pretty easily.I think this might be priced a little high for what it is. I don't really think the value is quite here given the fact that the squishies break easily and it takes some effort to get them blown up correctly in the first place.There is value in the fact that it's something new and she did have to spend some time figuring it out and all of that is good development for her. She loves buying squishies in the store and I like the idea of her seeing what it takes to make one.
