Might be a little pricey but worth every penny. I have never regretted these.

These are my go-to needles for a lot of my stitching. They are especially good if you are cross stitching in a pattern/method that sometimes leaves you making stitches in tight areas. These needles make it possible for me to stitch cross-country, or at least cross country in a limited area - I can stitch all of a color in one area of my work, and not worry that I'm boxing in empty spots that will be hard to stitch neatly later. The little ball at the end is incredibly helpful at stitching so you don't split previously stitched threads.Another great thing I've found about these needles is that they are very easy to thread without a needle threader. Even the size 28 has an eye that is open enough that I never have to use a threader and always get my floss in on the first try.My most recently finished project was over 10,000 stitches. I used the same needle for that entire project (and it had been used before for other projects), and am nearly halfway through another project of the same size with that same needle. It is not tarnished, not bent, and stitches just as well as it did when I started with it. And I have not once needed to use a needle threader. I know these needles are a lot more expensive than most other cross stitch needles, but if you feel like a ball tip would be helpful to you, and you are not prone to losing needles, this is a really good investment. I like to think about how many hours a tool will last when looking at the cost. A single needle has already lasted me at least 150 hours, and shows no signs of wear.
