Balun One Nine v2 is een zeer kleine 9:1 balun / unun voor het aansluiten van langdraad- en dipoole-HF-antennes op HF-compatibele SDR-, radio- of Ham It Up-omvormer. Hij beschikt over een SMA-uitgang en 3 verschillende ingangsopties voor de klemblokken (meegeleverd) voor je antenne-coaxkabel.
De Balun One Nine beschikt over een AntennaGuard-varistor op de ingang, die je SDR-setup beschermt tegen ongewenste elektrostatische ontlading. De ESD-bescherming is uitstekend - hij is IEC61000-4-2, een 8 kV contactsontladingstest, met een responstijd van slechts 300 ps.
Met een totale grootte van 38 mm x 25 mm is deze Balun iets groter dan onze populaire Balun One Nine v1, maar beschikt ook over een betere RF-prestaties en kan hij voor nog lagere frequenties worden gebruikt. Hij is zo ontworpen dat hij een laag gewicht heeft en gemakkelijk in je portemonnee past.
Zeer lage invoegdemping met een maximaal ingangsvermogen van +24 dBm. In de eerste plaats ontwikkeld voor RF-amateurbanden, maar de specificaties zijn nauwkeurig op frequenties tot 80 MHz+.

Balun Unum para experimentar en SDR con antenas de hilo, pero poco más. Realmente para temas de HF, MF y LF hay soluciones en SDR mejores como las antenas Youloop, activas y pasivas. Eso si, funcionar funciona, pero necesitarás mucho espacio libre para poder tender los hilos.

Using with SDRplay RSP1, that was given to me by a friend. I was skeptical at first of the One Nine and was pondering a quick return to vendor due to no case. I rigged an old RX bottle to house the OneNine that works. Upon set up and use for 10 days and nights on all Bands in all conditions I was intrigued . I had a Ham friend stop by with an Antenna Analyzer and we hooked it all up to my 50 foot end fed long wire antenna that's about 30 feet off the ground and It resonated extremely well on all Bands, 10m-40m and shortwave as well. We tried it without the ground as some thought it's not needed for receive only, Trust me the Ground made a Huge improvement in reception and lowered the noise level. All in All, very satisfied with this product for my particular setup and region.

Really improved the reception quality of the HF and medium waves. I'm using it with an RTL SDR and now I'm able to receive many more signals than before in low frequencies. Remember that if you are planning to use it with a cheap RTL receiver (like me), you should have a medium wave filter to reduce the interference. The only negative I can see with this product is the missing case. Remember to buy one before exposing it to the harsh weather.
