È perfetta e robusta non so come facevo prima senza. Non l'ho incassata perché non ho un banco con la battuta e non avevo voglia di costruirla, l'ho spessorata sotto per portarla leggermente sotto il filo del banco quattro tirafondi e ho allargato le ganasce con riporti in mdf a filo banco, e come vedete dalle foto riesco a lavorare anche pezzi di una certa misura. Ho letto recensioni dove si lamentavano del fatto che la parte esterna non era in squadro; è la parte interna della ganascia che deve essere in squadro e la mia lo è, c'è qualche decimo all'appoggio ma una volta stretta e nemmeno tanto è in squadro perfetto (vedi ultime due foto). L'unica pecca che ho trovato è la barra per stringere un po' corta e con gli stop un po' piccoli, in pratica quando devi fare una apertura ampia e usi l'indice a mò di perno, ti scivola fuori, ma è un dettaglio insignificante. Io l'ho comprata scontata e con un buono e l'ho pagata una cifra irrisoria, la trovo pressoché perfetta

I should have bought one of these years ago rather than relying on the Workmate and having to do woodworking projects in the back garden. The spur has been the refitting out of my workshop and I decided that I really did want a good quality wood vice. I already have a metal working vice, but more of that later.Yes, it did take me about three hours to fit it perfectly into my bench (which did require some building up under the lip to allow this to be just below flush). I have mounted it about 3mm down so that the wooden jaws that I have made can be exactly flush with no risk of chipping a plane blade by accident.Like many people, the space in my workshop is limited and I wanted a metal working vice as well, but didn't want to lose the bench length as the metal working vice might get in the way in a later job. I have mounted my metal working vice on a thick piece of plywood, with a 25mm x 25mm baton below. This means that I can now, when needed, take the metal working vice out of a drawer and clamp securely into this vice.Going back to this vice, the only thing it doesn't have (which the ones in school so many, many years ago did have) is a quick adjuster to allow you to pull and push to roughly the right position before tightening. This is of little consequence and does not affect my 5 star rating for this quality tool.Highly recommended, but allow yourself a few hours to mount it perfectly into your bench.

Lieferung/Versand wie immer top.Paket wurde in nicht einmal 24 Stunden zugestellt.Zum Produkt:Der erste Eindruck nach dem Öffnen des Kartons war sehr gut.Schraubstock hat für seine vergleichsweise kleinen Abmessungen ein gutes Gewicht.Vor der Montage habe ich die Funktion geprüft.Der Schraubstock arbeitet angenehm leicht und lässt sich gut spannen und entspannen.Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass die Schnellspann-Funktion, die es bei Schraubstöcken anderer Hersteller gibt, eine schöne Ergänzung für diesen „kleinen Schraubstock“ wäre.Zur Montage:Die Montage hat sich bei mir etwas schwerer gestaltet, da meine Arbeitsplatte auf einer Stahlkonstruktion liegt.Habe vor und hinter der besagten Konstruktion Leisten aus Buchenholz verschraubt.Die Grundplatte des Schraubstocks habe ich mit 4 Außensechskant-Holzschrauben (8mmx70mm) von unten befestigt.Meine Arbeitsplatte hat an der vorderen Kante ein Stahlprofil.Die feste Backe des Schraubstocks schließt bündig unterhalb dieses Profils ab.Ich war auf Grund der „besonderen Umstände“ in meinem Fall gezwungen, die zwei vorhandenen Bohrungen dieser Backe mit einem Senker zu vergrößern.Dies gestaltete sich sehr leicht und schränkt weder die Funktion noch die Stabilität des Schraubstocks ein.Danach habe ich die Backe mit zwei Senkkopfschrauben durch die nachgearbeiteten verschraubt.Die Grundplatte sitzt sehr fest und hat kein Spiel.Nachdem die Montage erledigt war, konnte der Schraubstock zum ersten Mal eingeschraubt werden.Da ich wegen meiner besonderen Umstände natürlich einen Höhenunterschied in der Stärke meiner Arbeitsplatte hatte, habe ich aus Buchenholz eine Platte angefertigt.Beide Seiten sind nun parallel und schließen perfekt ab.Ich habe kein Spiel und kein Werkstück bewegt sich auch nur einen Millimeter.Da ich nach den anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten bei der Montage (auf die Konstruktion der Werkbank zurückzuführen) einen super Schraubstock habe, würde ich diesen auch nochmals kaufen.
