Having used Osmo's oil product for interior use and being very satisfied with the results I had no hesitation in buying the Bangkirai Furniture Oil to renovate and protect my outdoor bench and table. After 3 coats the furniture looks like new and I am delighted with the finish. Of course, time will tell if the furniture stands up to weathering but I am optimistic. I have previously used stain then yacht varnish on other wooden outdoor furniture but realise it was a mistake and trying to remove the varnish which was flaking in places was a nightmare. This product is not cheap but it works a treat.

Utilisée pour une terrasse en bois exotique, cette huile protège bien le bois et garde une belle couleur au bois.... je fais une à deux applications par an...printemps, automne.

Lässt sich gut verarbeiten. Ganz dünn auftragen und 2mal streichen. Es ist schon sehr teuer. Der Anstrich hält aber auch lange und schützt das Holz. Kaufe die Farbe schon seit 15 Jahren.

Its one of the best oil for hardwood on the market.The main thing to remember, use brush, doesn't have to be OSMO one, can be any soft brush and never ever use the sponge type applicator and whats THE MOST important, apply thin layer, let it dry and eventually then apply another thin layer.NEVER EVER be lazy and apply a thick layer as you will end up like the guy called Ryan below in the reviews.But if you do, which I did years ago too, there's a solution which works wonders and will completely remove the oil bringing back the original decking state.I'm posting the instructions here in case someone need them,To remove the entire oil, first use Owatrol Aquanett as per instructions on the tin (note: coverage calculator is wrong on their website) , then use Owatrol Net-Trol as per instructions, the last step is to use pressure washer to remove the old oil. You will be surprised how easy the oil is getting removed! Wait till the decking is dry and clean, and apply the new layer of oil.This is my Balau (Bangkirai) decking.
