When I purchased this EMERGENCY STOP button I assumed that it was duel pole, switched like every other emergency switch I ever installed and never considered it didn't actually do that.I failed to fully comprehend that the notation on the package reading ... (1no.. 1nc..) assuming it to represent the two positions of the button as in.. up is Nc (on,) and down is No. (off,) since it locked.After wiring as a duel pole and nothing worked I found that It can only be wired using only one of those two switches encased below and a non switched wire nut neutral connection.Who the f*** knows why any one would want this switch to turn something on especially considering you remove the key and it is locked in the pressed down condition.And the fact it states EMERGENCY STOPSo anyway it now half works and a lot of my time wasted, hopefully someone other than me learns from this before they ask for a replacement as I did only to finally figure it out

More than average usage not recommended

I'm not exactly using it for it's recommended purpose, but I use it to prevent others from using my small radio. It works wonderfully for this.And for anyone considering this there are two 1/2" knockouts. I took a 3/8" clamp with a 1/2" KO fit and ran my wires through it, it was a tight fit but it holds them tight so nothing can pull them out.
