Things I liked:+ Detailed and fun. Everyone loves something coming out of something else, and the pleasure of revealing the little doll can be had over and over again which is nice.+ The whole set is absolutely tiny. This could be thought of as a positive or a negative. Of course the positive is that it is extremely portable and additionally very easy to tidy away and store.Things I didn't like:- However, the downside is that they don't really offer a huge amount of value for money. At £20, this set is extremely expensive especially considering that the lipstick version of the set currently only costs £9 for five figures contained within lipsticks.Do I recommend it?Yes, depending on exactly what you want from them and the price at the time of ordering. I felt that 20 pounds was quite a lot for this set and somewhere around 15 pounds would probably be more appropriate. You should also be aware that they are very tiny. But if you see that as an advantage and you think your child would enjoy them, the quality is decent and I can imagine some children having a lot of fun with these.

I have to admit that I don't really 'get' these. They seem very random. However, my toddler has no such reservations and really enjoys them. Well made and keeps her entertained.

When I first bought these I thought these were actually nail polish barbie containers but they're nail polish size containers. They're well made and they're a nice mix of various barbies but at c.£21 they seem a little high price wise.

YESSuitable as a gift? YESMy comments and opinion: Our box arrived squashed as usual from poor AZ carrier but the product will be a favourite if you are a Barbie or Polly Pocket fan. My 4 year old daughter loves it. Perhaps the manufacturer didn't do enough to make it clear what is inside - we all thought it was real nail polish before opening so I'm dropping a star based on the box design. For the price it is fairly expensive - you are paying for Barbie here and quality is alright but not exceptional. Good but not great.

I got these for my granddaughter for Christmas as she loves Barbie , when she opened them she said "Oh goody nail varnish " , well they are not nail varnish they are mini Barbie dolls in nail varnish bottles , I thought they had nail varnish in there too as well , the title is a bit mis-leadingOther than that you get five mini Barbie's , the mini Barbie's are well designed and you can make them sit and stand etc , also if you wet their hair it changes colour , but that's itMy granddaughter loves them , but was disappointed the set had no nail varnish in it , I feel it is overpriced for what it is , but your paying for the name I suppose
