Voor detectie van water, vocht en vochtigheid
Ons Kobalt Chloride testpapier detecteert de aanwezigheid van vocht. Dit testpapier is handig op moeilijk bereikbare plaatsen en uitsparingen. Kobaltchloride testpapier reageert op 50% relatieve luchtvochtigheid en hoger, en elke directe maat voor een waterige oplossing.

A quick and easy indicator that your solvent is sufficiently dry. Probably not suited to exacting circumstances where the slightest bit of water could have catastrophic consequences, but for most home / hobbyist uses, these are fine. The presence of water changes the blue color in a way that is immediately obvious, first making it lighter or white, then red.

I bought these to check if the leak in my motorhome was fixed. I thought they would be a good indicator while my motorhome was in storage to check if there were any drips from a leak I had hopefully fixed. Unfortunately I failed to take into account that they would also change colour in reaction to the damp air and not just in contact with dripping water. Not a fault of the product but not the right thing for my purpose.

We were trying to source a water leak and this did the job. Some people stated that these are small--they are, but that's a good thing from my perspective. You can place several of them in a location where you need them, and they are separated from each other that way. That helps you localize the issue.One thing to know: these strips are very sensitive to moisture, so make sure that your fingers are dry when you touch the strips. And replace the top of the container so that no moisture can get in contact with the strips. The cap provides a very snug fit.

We had a plumbing water leak we had been trying to find for 7 months in our new home. The builder could not find it, the plumbers couldn't find it and we couldn't. Finally I ordered these strips and taped them the the lines were the water was collecting in a bucket. There were several connections at this point. After 3 days I finally found which line was causing the problem as the blue turned to light pink. No more leak! I would have given 5 stars but the strips were so small it was very hard to work with in tight spaces!
