They accomplish what they are designed for, no full sun on your head and significantly less heat in summertime. They fit well. I’m happy with them.

My overheat protection has been kicking in all week with the inside of the car reaching over 40° whilst parked in the sun. So after buying a terribly cheap windscreen shade (which didn’t help at all) I decided the glass roof might need insulating.It has just arrived and I went and fitted it straight away in my late 2020 Model 3. Took 5 minutes.Doesn’t fit 100% but that doesn’t stop it from staying in place - in fact it kind of helps. The clips wouldn’t fit in certain places but that’s because it was jammed right against the headliner.This is the second Basenor accessory I’ve bought for my Tesla and so far I’m impressed for the price point and the fact that Amazon stock them (saves me waiting weeks to get bits from China)Hopefully they help with the heat inside the cabin during this early May heatwave that we seem to be having.

Very easy to install

This two-piece version (upgraded) covers both the panoramic glass and the rear window. The shades, additional solar pieces and clips, all come in a nice nylon zippered bag that’s used to store it when not in use.So here’s where you can laugh a little. Folding the shades back into their original form … and what to install where.First, be careful when opening these because the frames are very good quality and strong. When you first twist to open it, the shade opens quickly. When you want to fold them back into their original position, grab each side (short side), and twist your hands in reverse to one and other. Then bring your hands together and take your right hand and tuck it under the left. It might take a couple of tries ... but once you’ve done it once or twice, it will only take 2 seconds.OK, the second issue ... placement. The big one is for the smaller panoramic area. The smaller shade is for the back window … because (genius) they didn’t want to block our vision from a clear section of the back glass.To be honest, the clips were necessary for the front shade (I placed 2 clips on both the left and the right sides) but I only used one clip on the front of the back shade. There are lots of clips, so use what you’re comfortable with.The pictures show it was a sunny day. The material on these shades still allows enough light, but really cuts down the glare and heat. One of the pictures shows the additional reflective pieces that you can attach for even more protection. I won't them during our Spring and Fall, but will certainly attach them during the summer.Overall, I’m really please with the quality, fit and presentation.
