Nice wooden handle hammer, used it to put in my PVC floor, perfect item for this and the caps are exchangeable if they ever wear out

Size is fine, but no soft rubber head. I had to use a sponge on top of item to hit to dampen impact of the hammer. I can’t even change heads if my life depended on it.

I am really impressed with this hammer, it has a nice handle and great balance. As soon as it arrived, I immediately put it to work on a restoration project I was working on and it was great to use.

Having just received this mallet, I put it straight to work. It was ordered specifically for tapping in car door edge protectors (also ordered on Amazon).Thanks to this light (7.58 oz) Halder Soft-Face Mallet, I was able able to compete the job in short order, on two vehicles, with good results without any hassle, with excellent application of needed force.Holding the mallet near the head, it was perfect for the job. It is light enough to tap the outside edge of the door protector into the edge of the door without any concern for marring or squishing the new edge guard.Great little mallet, if used properly.
