I bought this cable to connect my older USB devices to my new MacBook's Thunderbolt port. This one is especially useful because it has two connectors, so I can double one of my ports. I may get a second one for the other port. I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't like having to buy all new peripherals just because the connector has changed. This remedies that. Also, the cables on this particular one are very nice quality and do not kink readily. All the connectors fit nicely with their mates, with no forcing or wiggling.

Hard to 'deep dive' on a USB C splitter, but I'll try, if only as a favour to the many people who - like me - suffer from serious insomnia.This is as mentioned, a splitter: one male USB/C to two female USB ports. I purchased this to run my beloved Behringer budget synthesisers through an Android Device or a midi keyboard. It worked exactly as I hoped it would.Build quality is VERY good for this price (see attached pics). Everything is tidy (no rough edges, no wobbly metal in low-grade plastic). It fits snugly into its output (let's say, a tablet or mobile) and the two 'things' that fit into it (let's say, synthesisers) fit snugly and stay plugged in.Even with a fairly robust yank, it stays in place. Samsung could learn something from this product - or, rather, they could if they still packed any USB plugs or leads in their shockingly overpriced products.Instead of the usual, crappy white plastic USB cables with wobbly metal A/B or C plugs, this is a composite hard fabric/metal weave outer shell (I'm sorry I can't tell you which), which looks really nice IMO. Even better than that, it's robust as hell and very well constructed. I could grab, stretch or yank any part of this and it wouldn't break. If bent/angled, the wires on the splitter don’t stay in place (which I thought it might), but it doesn't need to really, does it?In conclusion (lol! Who says that anymore??) this is a very useful product - not just for musical shenanigans, but for interconnecting any non-bluetooth/wi-fi devices through phones, tablets, consoles etc. play & charge). It's well-built & looks swish & does what you want it to...very effectively. Hope that's useful, comrades.
