Although I like the finishing and general aesthetic of the product, It took the place of the webcam on top of my screen. I had to find a different location to the webcam which is not very convenient.Also, the light is not suitable for curved screens nor screens that are not flat otherwise it is difficult to mount the light bar onto the screen top.I like the light and find it useful but it has some limitations in terms of where to place it. This problem is not solved yet unless you don't plan to use a webcam or change your monitor.

This LED lamp is designed for clamping along the top of an LED computer screen and illuminating part of the desktop in front of the monitor where the keyboard usually sits. Three optical switches are used to turn the lamp on and off, and changing illumination intensity and color temperature (cold white, warm white and an intermediate setting).The lamp does what it is supposed to do, but there are two areas of concern. The first is that the clamp is equipped with a quite strong internal spring, and presses real hard along the top of the monitor frame. With modern monitors where the protective glass reaches almost to the edge, the clamp presses directly against the glass, often hard enough to affect the brightness and color of the underlying LCD matrix. In spite of this, the clamp easily slides off if the rear of the monitor is tapered near its top (another common feature of modern LCD monitors, to make them look even flatter than the actually are).To prevent the clamp sliding off, I attached adhesive Velcro strips at the rear of the monitor and within the clamp. This effectively keeps the clamp in place. It would be good to also make the clamp spring less forceful, but it seems difficult to open the hinge, and I would not be able to do it without causing visible damage to the clamp.
